Friesche Vlag World of Latte - Etching: Chocolate Rose
De etching die in deze video wordt uitgelegd is de Chocolate Swirl. Chocolade en koffie gaan heel goed samen, maar er zijn nog meer smaakmakers die koffie kunnen verrijken. Zo kun je bijvoorbeeld siropen toevoegen aan de te schuimen melk. Er zijn veel verschillende siropen te koop en de mogelijkheden zijn bijna eindeloos, zolang de smaak maar goed combineert met koffie en melk. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan karamelsiroop of hazelnoot. Een scheutje is al voldoende om de melk op smaak te brengen. Ook hierbij geldt dat de siroop met de Friesche Vlag volle melk verwarmd wordt. Sterren en hartjes zijn natuurlijk een feest voor het oog, maar de smaak is uiteindelijk waar het om gaat. espresso is de basis voor een heleboel dranken. De meeste instructies in de waaier laten zien wat er allemaal mogelijk is met espresso en Friesche Vlag volle melk, maar ook andere toevoegingen kunnen van een 'gewone' espresso iets speciaals maken. Probeer bijvoorbeeld eens met een schijfje citroen wat citroensap in de espresso te persen. Ook is het mogelijk om aan de gemalen koffie een kruidenmix toe te voegen. Kaneel wordt daarvoor het meeste gebruikt, maar ook peper of zelfs gemberpoeder zorgen voor een heerlijke smaak.
