| If only Obama was running for the UK Prime Ministry as well (dunno how that would work but would be cool)... Gordon Brown is a screwjob. | martinnitus |
| 8:33 we've seen the highest unemployment rate since...........eh...for at least five years. sounds like his speech writer didnt fill Barack in on the facts very well this time. | nevermind1993 |
| I think the first part of this speech should be called the "All across America" speech and I think it should be used for the State of the Union address. It is powerful in a way reminiscent of Dr. King. | NapoleonCat |
| I hope Americans are smart enough to vote for the real change, Barack Obama. I can't believe all the lying McCain and Palin are getting away with. Americans need to wake up and make a difference. Aren't you sick of how Bush and the Republicans have screwed the country? OBAMA BIDEN '08 | joedukem |
| The nice thing about having a dem in office is that the dems don't blindly support their leaders like the republicans do. Obama is going to have some serious oversight and you can include myself as part of it. On the other hand, republicans will hate him no matter what. Clinton was the best Republican president we ever had but that didn't stop republicans from hating his ass. Oh no, he has a D next to his name! BAD! | capitalistT00L |

| You apparently don't know your history. FDR was extremely unpopular for a lot of the things he did in office. Only in our history books is FDR portrayed as this ever-popular, do-no-wrong head of state. He had a couple of brief periods where he enjoyed high ratings, but he was unpopular for much of his career as president. | dafunkmonster |

| He is such a great spkeaker. He really reminds me of Dr. Martin Luther King. | insanerschannel |
| WOW!!! What a speech! Vote OBAMA. I am Canadian and although I dont vote, I hope that our American friends vote for Obama because simply he would be the best for their great country. I am a Conservative party of Canada supporter and will vote for Harper (PM now and a candidate in Canada election) but Harper is way better and more honest than McCain or(O' dear) Palin. For those GOP supporters just open your mind and have a minute of truth between you and yourself and you will see what I mean | yalsaied |
| This man has to be president ,to vote mc'same would be madness. The rest of the world is pleading all Americans to do the right thing and vote Obama | spacecowboy809 |
| This beautiful speech brought me to tears. Tears of joy | solomon145 |
| peaviner, It's raising taxes if you make more than $250,000. That's reversing the Bush tax cuts for the ultra wealthy. You know the taxes that have driven the econemy down. We used to worry about how to retire or send our kids to college. Now we worry about how to pay for gas to get to work. | earthman4u |

| this guy is really amazing - intelligent and calm with incredible grace amid all the crap that is being thrown at him. We never get decent people to go into politics anymore EXCEPT NOW, We will not blow this historic chance to actually have an intelligent person in the white house. OBAMA/BIDEN 08 | turtleblues66 |
| Bush Snr = Broken Economy Bush Jnr = More Broken Economy McCain openly says "I don't understand economics". Palin took her small town of 9,000 people from surplus into debt. McCain = ? VOTE MCCAIN/PALIN ! VOTE FOR FINANCIAL RUIN ! | janebusby |
| Overall, it isn't. Nitpick it all you want...you can't just cut everyone's taxes and still make things run. There isn't a magic money machine. Government needs revenue. Obama is just going to roll back the Bush tax cuts a bit for those who, by far, benefited the most from them. Personally, I think we need to have EVERYBODY'S taxes raised, eliminate the Bush tax cuts and undo the damage done over the last 8 years. He started in the black, now it's record red. | gadjitfreek |

| Don't believe the hype of the polls. We are going to win this thing by 5 points. Nobody is really taking the Hispanic and youth vote serious. Plus a lot of the Palin fans will wake up when they realize she is just there for the visuals. McCain is the true sexist. To pick a person with little knowledge after spending the last 18 month telling Americans how much experience is important is Cynical and Reckless! Trust me Nation WE ARE GOING TO WIN THIS ELECTION USA USA USA USA USA USA | majixone77 |
