toyota sales are way down. Collapsing may be a harsh word but, it is what it is and as more 'accidents' happen, it will hurt them. The media blows everything out of proportion but, if toyota does have a problem with the electrical throttles, it may hurt them to the point where they could collapse in the future. Time will tell. Honda is going to pounce as will nissan with the versa. Its not good for toyota especially if they covered up something as the workers said. time will tell	cliffkemp

Toyota? Collapsing? How do you figure? The amount of people who actually have had problems brought up in recalls, isn't even a QUARTER of ONE percent. The media is just blowing these recalls out of proportion. Also note that Toyota is still easily the best auto manufacturer in the mid range vehicle class.	GEARSCOMBATANT1

@naydyuk10111 i dont like the rx8. i have a friend that has 1 and i took it in my turbo jetta (manual) um if u have those options i would go for the MAXIMA! i love those cars there really nice even the new body. and if u find 1 stick then thats rare and i would go for it. rx8 is pretty crampt and the interior is cheap. thats my opinion please dont bash on me mazda lovers! haha	monkey0900
Ok, no matter what these other guys say I can actually give you a personal experience. I drove this car for 6 months in 2005. IT IS EXPENSIVE TO FIX, but they rarely break down unless you are a complete idiot that just pushes it beyond its limits. This car has around 190-240HP that it makes a POS Mustang look like a turtle because it is so light weight. It handles great (American Version) even in the rain. There is room and plenty of HP. tsi or gst is the turbo version and tsi awd and gsx are the awd versions. The gs and es are the 2L NA versions and talon had a DL and eclipse had an RS that was the base model. 1st gen was a wedge design and the sec was more rounded. The sec was rounded kinda like the 8 above. if there is no bulge on the hood and is an eclipse it is probably a 2000+model as talons were no longer made after 1999.	cliffkemp
the talon I am looking at has been modded. the first gen talon/eclipse run around 7 to 60 and 15 in the 1/4 stock. This one has about 375hp at 20+psi and forged internals.	cliffkemp

no no. the talon is just an eclipse with different badging. The tsi awd is the same as a gsx eclipse. i have owned both. the first gen is the best to own for 2 reasons. the turbo is bigger stock than the 2nd gen and the Cd is better on the 1st gen. talon/eclipse/laser are all the same car. Laser was available awd starting in 92 and any 90 awd talon or eclipse is manual as autos were not available til 91.	cliffkemp
