Top 5 Sitcoms

Back in 1949 the first sitcom debuted on CBS television. It was called the Goldbergs and was a big hit on radio that was adapted for TV. It was about a Jewish family and at the time was unique. It followed a family going through zany situations. And that's what sit-com stands for "situation comedy." Maybe you don't know the Goldbergs, but chances are you loved sitcoms at some point in time. Here's our list of the top 5 sitcoms of all time.

1) Family Guy has the same type of shit comedy (I will admit, some of the stuff they say is funny, but it is generally the same concept). 2) American Dad is just fucking terrible. 3) You named 4 cartoons. Not 5 and 4) If you argue that American Dad and Family Guy are still superior to The Simpsons, just remember that they opened the door to cartoon type sitcoms.	Impurial1

You know jerry sienfeld would have been paid 5 million per episode if they continued but he declined it. I have the most out right repect towards him because of that. The show is perfect and knew where to stop. And yeah simpsons shouldnt be on the list but since its on glad it's number 1. I love that show more than anything. The only good sitcoms right now are the office and curb your enthusiasm. I feel like both should be in a top 10 list	kevstew26
They're running out of ideas but yeah i think the first 10 seasons of simpsons are hilarious then and just as funny now. New one seems more geared towards children. Still fun to watch but it annoys me how it's not funny	kevstew26

simpsons was good and i stress was now adays its not very funny and the movie sucked so bad i only found one thing funny in it and it wasnt that damn pig but i can sit down and watch probably the first 5 seasons of it all day the newer ones im not fond of	GoOfYjElLyFiSho
