Chinese water graffiti
An artist at the Summer Palace in Beijing China drawing calligraphy on the ground with water. There were a few artists there doing this all day since the quotations they write dry as they write them. This artist even allowed a Japanese tourist try it out. This was part of a Hong Kong tour, hence the Cantonese speaking in the background.

| You're just jealous that Chinese have way better education than we do. That's why there are so many CHinese in gifted programs. | DonaldHoughton |

| The real meaning is that all these beautiful things will be gone, evaporated, without a trace. life is only temporary, and so is beauty. nothing is permanent. same philosophy as the sand mandala, or artist destroying whole life's work. | wjrmonkey |

| If only it was paint... | HustlinFlo |
| its both. its also writing on publicly owned things. even if its the floor. but that's some beautiful writing. I suppose calligraphy is as much an art as it is writing. | icyrainwater |

| It is not graffiti. It's calligraphy. Like the English font has its typeface, this "chinese font" has its own typeface name. Maybe this typeface name is "liu ti" They are a lot of old men who use this kind big brushes and the water in the lake to practice their calligraphy instead sitting in home writing on the paper. They combine the body excise and calligphy together. It's common in China. | whitexiangshu |
