| So, this "timbap" is kinda useless in the end, I guess. You can do everything you just did on "timbap" with your regular dj system. Except browsing, but who cares about that anyway? | in5secs |
| yea that's true, but thats not because they use cds instead of vinyls, thats because they wanna dj to look cool instead of doing it because they love music | zafuso |
| 80% of them will never be dj's | jaytechnical |
| not really, its far from dead, but my guess is that 90% of the people starting djing will not go for vinyl | zafuso |
| what, you think that everyone who plays guitar is the next Bob Dylan? Every guitarist is a true artist because his father payed him cords scratching classes? | chillraph |

| I guess it would come with timebap? Or you'd have to get your own? Which, by the way, would be an extra pain in the ass to set up and then there'll prolly be times when you couldn't set it up because of the booth your in and all that. And what if you were outside in daylight? | RiceyRicer |

| I'm a DJ and that's just bullshit. It's not. But you do need good understanding of timing and basic understanding of Key/Pitch and general musical qualities. | blazetblaze |
| this video was good....but i think mine is better..my video is called the black hand. check it out and tell me what u think..thx | zzBHPzz |
| DJing is the equivalent of learning how to play every instrument known to man. orchestration is definitely an art, and as a dj that is exactly what you're doing. | eZ2bhappE |

| That "board of funny buttons, faders, dip switches, rotary knobs and the decks that you choose to utilize" more accurately, actually gives you a very wide palette to musically express your thoughts, As a keyboardist, drummer, guitarist and sound engineer I can personally tell you that DJing has definitely been the most challenging, but also one of the most rewarding. To be excepting and open is what it means to be a musician. Give it a shot, you just might have some fun and learn something too. | tragik911 |
