another way of phreaking the phone system was on payphones...you could cross out the handset, and then tap out the numbers with the lever where you hang up... 9 taps for 9 then 2 taps for two then so on and so on...those where the days when hacking and phreaking were fun.	johngrover77

Metrophone was my favorite service (back in 1984) to use for making free long distance phone calls.
