| In short, yes. To be honest, any theory science or theology comes up with is just that; a theory. I'd just rather stick with science, who at least try and prove their theories, than theology, who generally just start wars with anyone who disagrees. Plus I know this sounds kind of biased, and I apologise, but I don't think it even is possible to have a debate without bias. | tomcantsing |
| Prevolution Scientists theorise that some chemicals in the primordial ooze adapted to survive, similar to the way that creatures are generally believed to evolve today. Eventually, a certain chemical adapted in such a way that it was able to copy itself, making it the most abundant chemical, absorbing other chemicals in the primordial ooze, and becoming what could be called 'life'. If you're going to keep saying, "but where did that come from?" then let me ask you; Where did God come from? | tomcantsing |

| You're right, but it is the 'How'(science), not 'Why'(religion/philosophy). We cant mix them. For this reason, Science never will explain God. xxm0rtyque,God loves you. | Nonius9 |

| Okay, if that's what you choose. To me the randomness and sheer improbability of it occurring is far more amazing, far more facinating, and far more beautiful without attributing it to some god. We are stardust. | TheGodBen |
| damn you.. Aurorae are produced by the collision of charged particles from Earth's magnetosphere, mostly electrons but also protons and heavier particles, with atoms and molecules of Earth's upper atmosphere (at altitudes above 80 km (50 miles)). | xxm0rtyque |
